Self Portrait

Hey everyone. :)

This semester for illustration I have to make a card deck! For my theme I chose to do the Grimm brother’s fairy tales and here is an example of what will be my cards. Each suite will be a different fairy tale (13 tales total), the hearts will be princesses/female figures, diamonds are princes/male figures, spades are villains, and clubs are significant scenes/landscapes from the said story. The sketches I’m sharing with you are the suite of 2’s and the story, The Frog-King, aka The Frog Prince.

I’m sketching them out traditionally, but all of them will be painted digitally.

Also… I will be selling decks as well! If you’re interested in buying one the price will be around $10-$15 (no official price has been set yet.) Please send me a message or email me (maryetuttle@gmail.com) if you want to reserve a deck!
